Dreams From A Past
What if you dreamed you were someone else?
One night, a child discovers that they aren't themselves. They look different, they are older, they have different friends, and even have another name. The experience feels like a life that was once livedβa life that is familiar and unfamiliar at the same time.
Rather than becoming frightened, the child realizes they are safe and comes to understand that sometimes they may visit lifetimes from a past, while knowing they will always return.
The book's pre-sleep mantras focus on identity, connection and inner awareness. Children repeat ideas such as:
βAwake and in dream, I am always me.β
and
βI always know who I am.β
The mantras also encourage children to connect with their heart, soul and mind and to recognize positive thoughts within themselves. Children can then write their own words to repeat before sleep.
The dream journal invites children to imagine and record times when they dreamed they were someone else, including who they were, what they did, and what kind of life they experienced. Drawing pages provide another way to express those dream experiences visually.
What children explore:
π°οΈ Past-life experiences
π Identity and consciousness
β€οΈ Inner connection
